The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a Federal tax credit incentive that the Congress provides to private-sector businesses for hiring individuals from twelve target groups who have consistently faced significant barriers to employment, including:- SSI recipients
- Vocational Rehabilitation Referrals
- Some TANF recipients
- Work Opportunity Tax Credit (DOL)
Small Business Tax Credit & Architectural /Transportation Tax Deduction is an annual Tax Credit for small businesses earning a maximum of $1 million in revenue or had 30 or fewer full time employees. Expenses covered include
- Sign Language interpreting for customers or employees
- Purchase of adaptive equipment or medication of equipment
- Production of print materials in alternative formats
- Improving access to physical location by removing barriers in buildings or transportation
- Tax Incentives for Business (DOL)
- Tax Incentives Packet on the American's with Disabilities Act
